Then you will be interested in a new piece of software that will be coming to a computer near you very soon.
It is called 2Create a Superstory. You can find out more at the 2Simple website.
The program is aimed mainly at Foundation and KS1 children, although it's not hard to imagine children in KS2 also having fun with it.

Ely St John's has been awarded a prestigious certificate to mark the progress it has made within the Next Generation Learning Charter, towards gaining full ICT Mark status, the national standard indicating excellent use of ICT in learning and school management.
The certificate recognises the efforts and good progress the school has made, having now completed almost half of the required categories on its journey to gaining the full ICT Mark.
This recognition certificate means Ely St John's is already leading the way and committed to improving learning for pupils through the use of technology (including computers and laptops) in lessons. There is strong evidence to show that when technology is used effectively in schools, it can help to motivate and excite pupils, and raise attainment.

We had great fun working together to talk about bullying and explore ways to bully-proof ourselves and to look out for our friends.
Our focus was cyber-bullying, a growing phenomenon even in primary-age children, it seems. Soon we will be making available to children our own social networking area on this website to give our older children experience of Facebook-style websites, but in a safe and controlled environment.
