School meals are £2 a day for both Infants and Juniors.  They are of high quality and the children have a good choice.  Please refer to the following link http://www.myschoollunch.co.uk/cambridgeshire/ 

Please send all money for the week to school each Monday in an envelope with your child's name on it.  If you wish to pay by cheque, please write your child's name and class on the back.  Cheques should be made payable to Ely St John's school.  Please send dinner money via your children.

If you receive Income Support or other benefits, your child may be eligible for free school meals.  Please call 0345 045 1361.

Children may bring packed lunches.  Please provide a drink in a suitable drinking bottle.  Water is available from the drinking fountains.  Please do not send hot or fizzy drinks or glass bottles.  Sweets should not be included in packed lunch boxes.  Please make sure that packed lunch boxes and bottles are clearly named.

Due to severe allergies, please do NOT send any nuts with your child's packed lunch.

As part of a government initiative the Infant children are offered a piece of fruit each day.  All children are encouraged to bring a bottle of plain, still water in a plastic bottle to class.
