Myths and Legends

For the last two weeks of November Mr Firth's literacy group will be taking their inspiration  from Homer's classic tale 'The Odyssey'.

So, is 'The Odyssey' a myth or a legend? What's the difference anyway? Could you go on Mastemind and give a good answer to that question? Why not do some research and find out for yourself?

Some early questions:
  • Who is Homer?
  • What is an 'odyssey'?
  • Who was Odysseus?
  • Is he the same person as Ulysses?
